Following the Boundary Adjustment presentation last Wednesday evening, some committee members expressed concern with a specific aspect of the recommendation.
The committee met on the evening of Monday, September 5, to address the concern.
It was determined that a mistake was made by the CSISD administration in last Wednesday’s presentation regarding the Nantucket area. The committee’s recommendation should have had the Nantucket area being zoned to Oakwood Intermediate School, A&M Consolidated Middle School and College Station High School.
No other neighborhoods were affected.
Please see the updated attendance boundary maps and presentation, which accurately depict the committee’s recommendations at the following link:

In addition, CSISD will host three public forums to hear feedback from the community regarding the proposed attendance zones.
Tuesday, September 6, 2016 - 7 p.m. - CSISD Transportation Center (9304 Rock Prairie Road)
Wednesday, September 7, 2016 - noon - CSISD Transportation Center (9304 Rock Prairie Road)
Monday, September 12, 2016 - 5:30 p.m. - CSISD Boardroom (1812 Welsh Ave.)
If you are unable to attend any of the public forums, you may email your feedback to the boundary adjustment committee at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
After the public hearings and receiving feedback via email, the Boundary Adjustment Committee will consider the community’s input and decide whether or not to amend its recommendations. The committee’s final recommendations will be presented to the board on Tuesday, September 20. The ultimate attendance boundaries will be approved by the CSISD Board of Trustees at either this meeting or a future meeting.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused the community.
